Travel and speak
Travelling is much more than moving from one place to the other
phisically. It is about connecting with ourselves, with the most
inner part of our souls, and connecting with something different, a
new culture full of new people, a new atmosphere. It is about
experiencing something different, something new, and seeing how it
affects us. A
trip can be
a life-changing experience. People who don’t travel often, because
they are not interested, just lack something that we, the travellers,
have. There is something very particular about us, like a sparking
light, blinking every time we breathe the new air. We are not afraid
of challenges, we are used to getting around by ourselves and
sometimes we may think we can deal with anything. Personally, I used
to get lost abroad a lot, but I wouldn’t care. It was all about
experience, learning, stroll around the most unusual cities. Of
course, in order for us to do this, we need tools. By tools I don’t
refer to a map, nor to walking shoes. We need to be prepared for any
arising problem, and the best tool that we could ever have while
travelling, is language skills.
While
travelling to Europe, some people decide to stop and take
English Lessons in London.
To study English in England is quite different than doing so in your
native country, for instance. What you may be thinking now is
“English lessons while travelling? That’s not very practical” well,
reality is, it is. Lessons are very flexible as regards time
schedules and also content. This means that you can choose to learn
any day of the week, even weekends, at the time that suits you
better, whether it be in the morning, afternoon or evening.
Some people I
know also tried
French lessons in London,
which turned out to be incredibly useful during their following
trips to France, where locals are not willing to speak English. In
fact, they might frown upon your not being able to speak the local
language. This is why people choose to take French lessons conducted
by French native speaking teachers who help you achieve a better
pronunciation while offering a real insight to the cultural
backgrounds apart from the language itself. Lessons can be business
oriented for those interested in French for their jobs. It’s
important to mention how significant this language can be in the
business world. Remember that some of the most important organisms
in the world use French as their working or official language. Such
is the case of the UN, NATO or EU. All in all, you never know where
else it is going to come in handy.
