The
cottages, although traditional in style, have been
equipped with comfort in mind. There are two pairs of
semi-detached one bedroom cottages which each sleep four
with a separate twin or double bedroom and one or two two
sofa beds in the living room.
In
addition there are two semi-detached two bedroom cottages,
each with one double and one twin bedroom and one
sofa-bed.
The
largest cottage is detached and has one double bedroom,
one with three single beds and two sofa beds in the living
room.
For
cosy evenings in the early and late season each living
room has a working fireplace which can be lit with the
wood stacked behind each cottage, normally used for the
individual boilers which provide hot water for each
cottage's shower room.
The
open plan kitchenettes each have a gas cooker and a fridge
but these are rarely used as most guests are enticed by
the wonderful aromas from the restaurant kitchen.
Black
Tree's minibus is also used for other excursions during
the week - some to beaches, others to historical sites -
whilst for those who wish to be completely independent and
are not deterred by the partially untarmaced mountain road
(9 km) that leads to Black Tree, we offer reduced car hire
rates provided you collect your car at the airport on
arrival and return it there when you depart. Patara beach,
one of the longest and finest in Europe, is just a 40-
minute drive away, there are countless archaeological
sites within the scope of a day's outing and the bustling
town of Fethiye with its colourful market can be reached
in little over an hour. However you choose to spend your
days, nothing could be better than an evening at Black
Tree relaxing around the open fire under the impossibly
bright stars with convivial company, delicious food and
copious raki. |
