Holidays was established here in the UK ten years ago when I moved here
from Turkey having spent 16 years in the
tourism business in my beautiful country
(women have a lot to answer for, more
later). Whilst I deal with the
whole of Turkey I specialise in the Fethiye
/ Oludeniz / Kalkan area where I spent
all my childhood summers (1971-1979) and early
working career. I remember Olu Deniz when
it was only a beach, green houses and
wooden shacks (Deniz Camp) built by my famous Uncle
"Bob" and whilst today
there are now a few more buildings down
the beach. It remains a conservation area
and all buildings are required to meet
very strict regulations. So you will find
all hotels and restaurants in keeping
with the surroundings.
In the early 70's
when the overlanders came to Oludeniz our
amateor tour operation were born with
Penn World and Jerry-Can. I also got my
first taste of European music there with
"Eagles". I have been fortunate
enough to balance my origins and culture
with that of the west.
I have made many
real friends during my time at Ocakkoy
(1985-1993) where Tapestry Holidays used to run a beautiful holiday village where built
from nothing only ruins and I was General
Manager and latterly at the Buzz
Bar & Restaurant where many
friends have spent many memorable
evenings with myself, Bob,
Anthea, Turgut,
Eddie, Elvis
and many more.....
My Business was
then is now something which I take very
personally. I am very glad that that I
have the opportunity to send people to
such a beautiful place that I am very
proud of and if I can not be there,
sharing it with others is the next best
thing.
On one of those
memorable evenings at the Buzz Bar ten years ago I met a Lady who become my wife
five years ago and hence my move here.
Travelling back and forth for three years
was hard work so we decided to settle in
one place and so Buzz Travel and
Holidays
was born in Stockport, Mellor.
I always tell my wife she can not keep me
here forever therefore I went into the
Internet travel business so I can have
the flexibility make the most of two
countries whilst providing a consistent service to my clients.
I personally deal
with all the hotels you will see on this
web site. Many of the owners are my childhood or school friends and I am keen that all
accommodations and service meets my
specifications whilst offering choices to
suit different budgets.
I hope you will
enjoy viewing the web site and that you

homeland. I will endeavor to assist you
in making your holiday an enjoyable one. I
can assure you will get a warm welcome
when dealing with us and when you arrive
in Turkey as my people are very
